Jenny Elliott is an award-winning Urban Designer and Illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland
Jenny Elliott works at the interface of sustainable, collaborative and visual design, with experience in urban design, co-design, user research, graphic design, illustration and photography. An Urban Designer and Chartered Landscape Architect by training, Jenny has particular expertise in collaborative data-driven public space projects and visual communication.
As a Member of the Association of Illustrators and Chartered Landscape Architect, I blend expertise in visual communication with built environment design, as well as PhD research using human-centred systems thinking approaches to understand how as an industry we can practically create greener, healthier streets and future cities. About
Interested in transforming urban spaces through innovative design, research and collaboration and using visual communication to drive engagement and impact, much of my work involves integrating data-driven, observational and user experience insights about the city to drive positive change through the design, analysis or visualisation of streets and other public spaces. I have instigated, and led numerous creative placemaking projects - using film, photography, visual arts and participation to catalyse change and collaboration, or reimagine overlooked urban places.
