I supported the University of Edinburgh’s Edinburgh Living Lab, providing strategic design input for its ongoing development as part of Edinburgh Futures Institute. This included delivering specific design outputs, including re-design of the Edinburgh Living Lab website and other communications materials, including a short film summarising the lab’s work.

My work on this, and prior projects for the Edinburgh Living Lab led to my subsequent position as Smart Places’ Development Lead for the Edinburgh Futures Institute, including organisation of a range of events along the Smart Places theme. This work complemented my University of Edinburgh PhD research.
